Improved Algorithm of Real-Time Image Compression and Transmission based on Local Area Network

To address the problem that the existing image compression algorithm takes up mainframe computer resources or uses web bandwidth,this paper proposes an improved algorithm of real-time image compression and transmission based on local area network.The analysis of image data frames indicates that transmitting part of the image data,is able to reduce compression time,to enhance compressing efficiency and to boost image transmission fluency.The study on the performance of this algorithm proves that it can be applied to develop network monitoring software in local area network.
