According to the vehicle roadway test,a kind of vehicle velocity acquisition machine based on GPS and accelerometer is introduced.It integrates the signals of GPS and accelerometer,using a kind of data fusion algorithm on the upper control unit.The real-time acquisition of vehicle velocity is realized.The whole system has the advantages of dependable capability and low cost.It has been put into practice and performs perfectly.
