Object-oriented database technology used in IDSS

Through describing a specific object-oriented database management system OOSM used in an IDSS, this paper proposed an object-oriented database management strategy whose main objective is providing development support. In OOSM, definitions of object models are based on object-oriented characteristics of C++, and persistent storage strategy combines relational database technology and file system. This paper introduced object instances query and manipulation language provided by OOSM. This language generates template functions to developers.
