A Robust Blind Watermarking Algorithm for 3D Motion

Xiang-jun Huang · Jisuanji gongcheng · 2003

This paper proposes a DCT-based blind watermarking algorithm for 3D motion. It adoptes two well-known ideas called spread spectrum and quantization. The authors embed a watermark into the 3D motion signals by perturbing the middle frequency coefficients. By choosing an appropriate quantized step-length, the distortion is kept unnoticeable; and by spectrum spreading, every watermark bit is embedded in more than one frequency coefficient, this can effectively increase the robustness. Experimental results show that the method is resilience to many attacks such as Gaussian white noise, resampling, smoothing and rearranging.
