Color image enhancement algorithm based on human visual system

In order to analyze and recognize further color image, algorithm of color image enhancement is presented after analyzing HSV format. Mean and variance of pixel neighbor is adopted to enhance value component to achieve high frequency and preserve low frequency of image. Saturation component is also adjusted using correlation coefficient of value and saturation component according to variance of value component. This algorithm not only stretches contrast but also has more rich color, more clear and better visual effect by subjective analysis and objective analysis.
