The PLC Control of a Special Machine for Deep Hole Drilling

Aiming at the deep-hole drilling,this paper introduces the principle and the PLC control system of a special drill machine with safety protection technique.While the torque is over the value limited,the system can detect the torque parameter rapidly and control the elec- tromagnetic clutch open immediately.Consequently,the feeding is stopped and the drill bit and rod are protected.
