Quotient Operators of Fuzzy Relational Database Based on the Semantics

To model the real world, the representation and processing of fuzzy information must be close to their natural semantics. In this paper, by introducing the quotient operator in the conventional relational database and analyzing the usually methods of extended quotient operator based on the semantics in fuzzy relational database, we defined two kinds of querying semantics of quotient result, and put forward a new form and a new method. In the rest of paper, experimental results are presented, which shows that with the new form and method, the quotient results are more fit for their natural semantics.
