Equalization Technique of Bit Interleaved Coded Modulation System

Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation with Iterative Decoding(BICM-ID) technique has the characteristics of low complexity and good performance.This paper introduced the framework and Iterative Decoding method of the BICM-ID system and studied the Least Mean Square(LMS) and the Recursive Least-Square(RLS) adaptive equalization algorithm,analyzed Liner Equalizer(LE) and Decision Feedback Equalizer(DFE),and designed the system which BICM-ID Studied utilized DFE-RLS equalizer on ISI channel.Simulation results show that the system estimated and traced the channel adaptively and quickly,obtained good performance on ISI channel afer several Iterative Decoding——on the ISI channel W2.9 /W3.5,the system attained the BER 10-4 when the SNR was 7.6 dB/12.8 dB after 3 round Iterative Decoding.
