Substation meter reading system based on ARM

A substation meter reading system based on ARM is introduced,and its structure and three-layer design scheme are presented,as well as the hardware circuit with microproce-ssor LPC 2214 based on ARM platform.The communication scheme is described in detail.The selection of communication mode and the software design of communication module are introduced.The ARM with embedded real-time operation system μC / OS-Ⅱ has high reliability,strong real-time performance and high transmission speed.The system realizes the transparent data transmission between multifunctional ammeter and remote master station via Ethernet.
