Characteristics of Mountain Wind Resource and Site Selection Methods of Wind Farm

In order to speed up the development and construction of wind power in mountainous area,through the combination of theoretical research,example verification,comprehensive analysis,the cause of mountain wind and its characteristics were analyzed,the advantages and disadvantages of wind power development in mountainous area were compared,and the site selection principles and methods of wind farm in mountainous area were studied based on the characteristics of mountain wind resource. The proposed methods and ideas have preferable reference and application value to the reasonable site selection of wind farm,the full use of wind resources and the quick development of wind farm,in mountainous area.
