Eigen-beamforming algorithm based on channel state information feedback

In MIMO communication systems,an eigen-beamforming algorithm which could reduce the symbol error rate effectively was proposed.Suppose the receiver can fulfill the channel estimation accurately,and feedback the channel correlation matrix to the transmitter in time,research was made on the eigen-beamforming algorithm in which both the transmitter and receiver use multiple antennas,and give detailed analysis and ratiocination.Based on the work above,the combination of beamforming and space-time block code was studied in order to increase the information transfer rate per hertz.Simulation result shows that the symbol error rate can be reduced remarkably when the receiver uses multiple antennas other than only one.The eigen-beamforming algorithm could improve the performance effectively by providing beamforming gain and diversity gain simultaneously.
