Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) is generally composed of large amount of cheap and micro sensors in area where is watched, and is constructed a multihop and selforganizing network system by wireless communication way.The design of MAC protocol is an important research prospect in wireless sensor network. This paper discusses many MAC protocols, and proposes a classification approach to wireless sensor network. We present three evaluating standards on design of MAC protocols by analyzing and comparing a variety of typical protocols.
