The paper expounded the origination and revolution of service-oriented architecture,and web service standards,and up-to-the-minute research progress on SOA.Then draw three comparisons: CORBA and Web service,OWL-S and WSDL,REST and Web service,which can realize SOA.Finally bring forward that Identity management and access control,web service manangement,entity aggregation,transaction and integration four areas of SOA need solutions and application value of open source SOA item call for attention.
