A New Method Based on Eigenvalue Analysis for Blind SNR Estimation

Eigenvalue analysis of autocorrelation matrix is derived.Based on this analysis,a method using eigenvalue analysis of covariance matrix for blind SNR estimation is put forward.The result of computer simulations in AWGN condition shows that,the proposed method's performance such as estimation error and STD is better than the method which based on eigenvalue analysis of autocorrelation matrix.
