Probing into the tread and planning design of the audio and video services in university libraries

Through the analysis of the practical experience of the advanced libraries home and abroad,the application of audio and video technology can certainly widen the function of reader service of libraries. This article expounds the positive role of the audio and video technology in the full utilization of digital resources and attracting broad masses. The author of this article makes a probe into the planning and design of the audio and video rooms in university libraries from the following factors: the practical conditions of the development of audio and video technology,the professional requirements for space,equipment and personnel.
