A New Algorithm for Image Watermarking Based on the Significant Coefficients of DWT

Robustness is the emphasis for image watermarking research.Embeded strategy and the watermark strength affect robustness of watermarks.In this paper, a new algorithm based on the significant coefficients of DWT is proposed.The algorithm searches the significant coefficients of DWT, and embeds the watermark in the low and medium frequency significant coefficients.The experimental results show that the algorithm is robust against JPEG compress and common image process techniques.
