Error Correction using Cyclic Redundancy Check Based on Confidence Declaration

Taking the Mode S down datalink processing as example,this paper introduces two multi-error correction methods using cyclic redundancy check based on bit and confidence declaration: one for correcting burst errors,the other for correcting random errors.Both techniques enhance the error correcting ability of cyclic redundancy check.
