Robust watermarking technique based on genetic algorithm

A robust watermarking technique is proposed.Based on genetic algorithm and Watson's perceptual model,a new adaptability function is defined,which can adjust the intensity of the watermarking in DCT blocks.Based on the different results of the genetic al-gorithm,different intensity of the watermarking are embedded in the locations of large JND in the low frequency of the DCT domain.Experimental results indicate that the proposed scheme can assure good imperceptibility for wartermarked image and is robust to additive noise,filtering,rotation,compression and most attacks.
