Power Allocation for OFDM Based on Multi-hop Decode-and-Forward Cooperative Communication System

A kind of dual optimal power allocation algorithm in OFDM based on multi-hop decode-and-forward cooperative communication system is proposed.Firstly,power among relay nodes is optimized in a single subcarrier in order to make its channel capacity maximal.Secondly,power among subcarriers is optimized in order to make the channel capacity maximal of a single-hop.Thus,the system channel capacity is maximized.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm improves the channel capacity significantly compared with adaptive optimal power allocation(A-OPA),and equal power allocation(EPA).
