Absorbing the merits of neural network and expert system,to make up for their shortcomings.Establishing an integrated expert system by integrating the heuristic rule inference and the neural network diagnosis method organically,in order to simulate human brain's real thinking process accurately.Expert system based on neural network for a thermal power plan.In addition,the paper gathered the data of water treartment in chemistry,combined with the typical fault data,then formulated the fault diagnosis and gived the practical application effect.At last the paper showed the practicability of the sistem.
