Delay Detection Method for Audio Transmission System Based on Autocorrelation

With the development of the IP network,transmission delay and reliability have been greatly improved,so that real-time call through the Internet becomes possible. However,there is not yet a simple and effective method for detecting the delay of the audio transmission. This paper aims to propose a simple,effective detection method and analysis the accuracy of the detection method by simulation. The simulation results show that the method can accurately detect the audio delay when it is greater than 100 ms.
