Research on the Active Decision Support System

With the increase of problem complexity,environments under which decisions are made become more dynamic. In this way,decision supports provided by previous decision support systems are hard to meet the need of users and active decision support is necessary. Its coming into being lays a foundation for designing the adaptive decision support system(ADSS). Some problems about the active DSS are discussed in this paper, including the comparison between model-driven decision support and problem-driven decision support,active learning,active support for intuitive decision and active help and so on. Further,knowledge needed for the active DSS and the structure of the active DSS are presented.
