A Broadband Network Test System Based on VXI Bus

Presented in this paper is a 155M/622M ATM/POS broadband network test system based on VXI bus. The equipment is composed of an ATM/POS interface board and an ATM cell (POS packet) generating/analysis board with the corresponding software. It performs the tests for physical layer operation and maintenance and ATM layer/POS抯 LINK layer test at a speed up to 622MHz. The equipment is developed on VXI bus,designed with high-speed digital circuit,large-scale FPGA and real-time operating system. It is the first 622M ATM/POS broadband network test system based on VXI bus in China.
