This paper analyses the main problems currently existing in hydrographic surveying and charting archives management,expounds RFID(radio frequency identification)technical advantages and features in applications of marine charting archives management,devises a set of intellectualized management system based on RFID and introduces its functional module framework to make improvements in information-based and intellectualized management.
