Office automation system based on timing agent and workflow technology

Workflow technology is becoming a new and rapidly expanding sector of the software market. Since workflow is a market driven technology, and in order to make a meaningful analysis, we start by presenting the current state of the art in workflow technology. Some aspects of workflow are found to be well suited to support office automation system (OAS). To be highly useful, office automation systems require customization to individual users, work environments, and tasks. We consider the question of whether office automation systems can be developed that allow users not skilled programmers to easily program or customize these tools themselves. This paper improves a method on sharing , accessing and transforming data from documental database to relational database using Notes timing agent, and then realizes workflow processing between two kinds of databases .
