Application of Phase Frequency Measuring Method to The Intra-pulse Characteristic Analysis of Radar Signals

Taking single carrier frequency signal,linear frequency modulation signal,binary phase shift keying(BPSK) signal and frequency shift keying(FSK) signal as example,this paper analyzes the intra-pulse modulation characteristic of radar signals by extracting instantaneous phase of signals,introduces the extracting method of instantaneous phase of signals,then presents the modulation type identification methods such as phase analysis method and phase difference analysis method respectively,finally simulates and analyzes this two methods.The simulation result indicates that the phase frequency measuring method is a kind of effective tool to analyze the modulation characteristic of radar signal.
