As a generalized analysis method,fusion can synthesize multiple source information.The application scope of fusion is more and more broad.Along with oil-gas exploration and development progress,conventional method could not deal with complex ground and underground condition day by day.Information fusion can synthesize multi-information sources,multimedia and multi-forms information,and promptly provides reliable,highly effective information.It displays more and more vital roles in oil-gas exploration and development process.This article elaborates the basic principle methods and their application in exploration and development.
