ERROR CORRECTING CODE AND AUTHENTICATION CODE

In a sense, code theory and authentication theory are dual theories, their relationship have been exploited by many researcher. In this paper, the relationship between error correcting code and authentication code is investigated further from another view, and it is found that the authentication codes with “good” property can be constructed by error correcting codes.
