The Research on Audio Information Hiding Technolgy

Yang Yi-xian · ZTE communications · 2007

Audio information hiding technology is an important branch of steganography, which is related to the domains such as time, frequency, Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), Wavelet and compressed. Among them, the algorithms in time and frequency domains are simple, but the robustness of them is weak. The technologies in DCT and Wavelet domains own good invisibility and robustness. When attacked by A/D、D/A convert, their performances are specially excellent. However, their complexity is so high, making them difficult to implement. Although the methods in compressed domain have good invisibility, they are, however, vulnerable. Audio information hiding is well-applied in many occasions. However, when in the face of re-record attack, there is no satisfactory resolution. The research shows that precise synchronization information imbedding and strong hiding methods are the two key points to solve this problem.
