Study of misalignment on multilevel memory system

Modern computer must solve the misaligned access problem. First, the background and reasons of the misaligned access problem, and also the main realization methods of it are introduced, then the advantages and disadvantages of these methods are analyzed, from the efficiency, software or hardware expenses, and the complexity of realization. At last an efficient and low-cost solution of misa- ligned access problem in the multi-level memory system is proposed. This solution can effectively solve the misaligned access problem under the smaller software and hardware expenses.
