Needle plate is important function part in industrial sewing machine parts. It focus on linearity border segment detection of Needle plate and feasibility of non-contact measuring,Realize edge detection base on eliminating spurious peaks according to the analysis of limitations of traditional Hough transform,with integration detection and image corner detection complete the method apply to it. the needle plate image processing experiment results show this method can detect the linearity border segment.
