Accelerating Algorithm for 3D Convex Hull Construction of Scattered Data

An accelerating algorithm for 3D convex hull construction of scattered data is proposed,which has three steps:first,the inner and outer boundary box of scattered data is constructed;second,the scattered data is reduced according to inner boundary box;third,the solution for the convex hull construction of whole scattered data is realized just through constructing the convex hull of data after reduction.This algorithm has been proved simple to implement and more efficient than traditional methods.
