Risk Factors Zoning of Debris Flow in Sichuan Province

Sichuan province is one of the regions with heaviest debris flow disasters. Its difficult to zone with direct indexes for large quantity and wide distribution of debris flows, and the result of zoning with indirect indexes cant be checked. The fuzzy information model of debris flow risk factors based on the information content in information theory and the fuzzy evaluation of fuzzy mathematics, is a zoning method associated with direct and indirect indexes. The result of zoning can be checked with the completed debris flow data. The risk factors zoning of debris flow of Sichuan province is made out with the fuzzy information model based on the completed data of debris flows of the west part of Sichuan province.
