Application Sphere Decoding Algorithm in MIMO System

MIMO system brings huge capacity as well as high complexity of the receiving signal detection.Sphere decoding algorithm is one of the methods which can solve this problem effectively.It can reduce calculating requirement by shortening the number of comparing signal points.According to the signal model characteristics of MIMO system,combined with the last related research progress,sphere decoding theory and algorithm are analyzed.Theoretic analysis indicates that this algorithm can achieve the quality of Maximum Likelihood(ML) detection by less calculation,and it has great applicable value.
