This essay introduces the designing theory and achievement of the intelligent controlling device of the chief transformer's wind cooling system which controlled by PLC. This device can monitor the working condition and fault at real time in short or long distance. It will run or stop the radiator automatically, according to the burden of the transformer and the temperature of the oil. So it can save the electricity and last the life of the machine. This device also has perfect function of preserve monitor display and communication. It is suit for substation and power plant as the controlling system of the chief transformer's cooling equipment.
