A Novel Adaptive Frequency Hopping Communication System

Song Hao · Telecommunication Engineering · 2009

According to the result of spectrum hole detection in the Radio Frequency(RF),an adaptive frequency hopping(AFH) system based on adjusting the frequency map is proposed. It avoids using the frequencies which have been interfered by detecting the spectrum hole. The system is modeled and simulated in the ISM band where the Bluetooth,802.11 and Cordless coexist. Results demonstrate that the AFH system based on adaptive frequency hopping works efficiently and reliably when it collides with the 802.11 and Cordless by adopting the technique proposed in this paper. This result is important to the coexistence of the communication systems.
