Color Image Watermarking Based on Discrete Wavelet Transform and Singular Value Decomposition

In order to strengthen the digital multimedia copyright protection,a color image watermarking algorithm by combination of discrete wavelet transform and singular value decomposition( DWT-SVD) is put forward in this paper. The color digital images are decomposed by wavelet transform,and the wavelet coefficients are decomposed by singular value decomposition; then the watermark information is scrambled by the Arnold algorithm and is decomposed singular value decomposition. Finally the watermark singular values are embedded into the color image wavelet coefficients singular value,and the watermark embedding strength is adjusted. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can detect the watermark information well,and has good invisibility,and has strong robustness for all kinds of attacks.
