Design of Architecture of ONet—An Object Database Management System

This paper introduces the architecture of ONet, an object database management system based on ODMG 3.0 standard. ONet adopts an architecture combining the advantage of page-server and object-server, two kinds of client-server architectures. The design of object component and object schema server is also discussed.
