Development of Dynamic Water and Rainfall Information System

Dynamic water and rainfall information is the most important and basic data information in water resources trade.Nowadays, a set of standardized operation and management mechanisms in collection, transmission and writing to database of the dynamic water and rainfall information are formed.However, the technologies of forecast, alarm, auxiliary decision-making for the dynamic water and rainfall information could not keep pace with the development of information technology, especially database technology, network technology and 3S technology.For the fast transformation from conventional water conservancy to modern water conservancy, it is very urgent to build a flexible, intuitionistic and open WEBGIS service platform of dynamic water and rainfall information.In this, with present water conservancy as the background, a dynamic water and rainfall information system based on ARCIMS is designed and developed.
