PI System-Based Information Platform Construction for Smart Grid

This paper analyzes some problems in information construction of electric power enterprises,and proposes detailed construction scheme of information platform for smart grid based on real-time/history database(PI system).The unified PI system-based data platform for electric power enterprises can eliminate information silos and achieve a high degree of information integration and sharing.It builds up bridges between the control system and management system,and provides full and effective professional information support for corporate strategy making.
