The expert system of farmland grading based on GIS

Using norm of farmland and database standard of farmland as criterion,applying the expert system to the second developing environment of GIS,an expert system of farmland grading in a county was set up.The system includes creating and selecting knowledge base,classifying and mapping of the utilization coefficient and economic ones,calculating the grading indexes of nature and utilization or economy,classifying and mapping of nature grades and utilization ones or economic ones.The conclusion is that the system has generality,can improve the automation of farmland grading,and raise the standardization of the maps.
