New Authenticated Key Agreement Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

Yan Yan · Journal of Nantong University · 2009

This article argues that it is feasible to adopt elliptic curve cryptography in the process of key management of wireless sensor networks to guarantee their high network security and low energy consumption.A key negotiation protocol is proposed and its identity authentication is tested on the basis of ECC and Diffie-Hellman.The new protocol, with little resource consumption and great expansibility, can resist effectively attacks from node capture, message replay and impersonation.
