The Realization of Packet Data Function in TETRA Digital Trunking System

This paper presents an approach on designing TETRA digital trunking system packet data function. The paper design and implement the SNDCP entity based on the study of TETRA air interface protocol stack and the architecture of TETRA packet domain. The paper emphasizes on the analysis of the procedures of PDP context activation / deactivation,packet data channel allocation and release,packet data transmission,develops the TETRA digital trunking system packet data function by hybrid programming in UML language and C language. Finally,the actual simulation and equipment tests of UML model are implemented,and test results are in accordance with TETRA Air Interface.
