Multi-Agent System Based Task Decomposition and Solution Synthesis in Fault Diagnosis

Fault diagnosis of a complicated system usually is a dynamic and distributed problem.This paper introduces multi-agent system (MAS) to the fault diagnosis of complicated system.It discusses the methods and process of the distributed intelligent fault diagnosis based on MAS,and proposes the design of fault diagnosis expert system for weapons.Key techniques of task decomposition,task distribution and solution synthesis are demonstrated.Experiments show its satisfactory performance and effectiveness.The result improves the accuracy and efficiency of distributed fault diagnosis for complicated weapon system.
