Study of OpenCV Applied in Intelligent Video Surveillance

An intelligent video surveillance system used OpenCV and Visual C++ 6.0 is constructed. The algorithm of background modeling and background updating is applied in detection of moving objects. This system can realize the quick detection of moving objects in the surveillance area and record the video as soon as the moving objects are detected, the video recording can stop automatically when the moving objects are out of the surveillance area.
