The Embedded Multi-serialports communication converter for Power Quality Monitoring System by using free software is designed ,the system is modularizated ,and eight serialports communication converter is setted to implement asynchronous serial data transmission through ethernet.The design philosophy and software/hardware structure of every layer are explained .
