Research of mapping IEC61850 to IEC60870

The problem of compatibility between devices applying IEC60870 and devices applying new IEC61850 in communication should be solved,as there are many devices applying IEC60870 in communication protocol in SAS prestently.This paper compares the IEC61850 with IEC60870 in communication,provides the method of mapping the communication protocol of IEC61850 to IEC60870-5-103/104 accordding to the character of communication in SAS and the mapping principle in IEC61850,and brings up the devices applying 103/104 protocol into the new communication system in SAS.
