DATA MINING AND POWER SYSTEM

In this paper the basic concepts and systematic structure of data mining are described. On this basis the ne- cessity and feasibility of applying the data mining to power system are analyzed. Considering the features of power sys- tem own, the prospect of applying data mining in power sys- tem is discussed and the factors which may influence the suc- cessful application of data mining are pointed out.
