The Relation and Its Application Between Time Interval Measurement and Phase Comparison in the Process of Time Comparison

At present a time interval counter is always used when doing time comparison and the time comparison's resolution is restricted by the time interval counter's resolution.The relation between the phase comparison and the time comparison is analysed.The time comparison result can be got from the frequency comparison result under some conditions.The analysis is proved by an experiment.The advantages of this indirect measurement are also shown.
