Application and Research of the MiniGUI Based on the ARM-Linux

In this paper the MiniGUI based on ARM-Linux platform is researched,in which a map of MapInfo's format(TAB,MIF,-)can be displayed and operated by using the GDAL/OGR library.Firstly,across-compiler and running environment is built,then the MiniGUI system is transplanted into Embedded ARM-Linux platform;secondly,the MapInfo's coordinate data and coordinate information is accessed by using GDAL/OGR library,if necessary,the ellipse coordinate is transformed to the ichnographic coordinate,and finally,the map is displayed on the platform's LCD.The experimental result indicates that the system performance achieves the anticipated target.
